Marvin (JP) Morgan

Marvin Lee Morgan was so commonly called J P that it was easy to forget that his first name was Marvin.

In 1930 Marvin and Ruth filed on a homestead in Lake Channel, about 21 miles West and South of American Falls, Idaho. The family called it "The Ranch" and it became an important part of their lives.

Marvin Lee Morgan married Ruth Ives Stanger in 1926. They had two children, Marvin Lee Morgan Jr. (Usually called Van) and Erin Serena Morgan. This picture has written on the back of it that it was taken in September 1948 at the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot.

Erin Serena Morgan Prudhomme was born 17 September 1930 in American Falls, Idaho. She married in 1948. She died 29 September 2010.

Marvin was born in 1897 at Neeley, Idaho, had a serious heart attack in 1948, and died in 1959.

Ruth Ives Stanger was born in 1897 at Iona, Idaho. She passed away in 1991.
